Political Unrest
Dear Country, It does us a great unjust to be divided between our morals, and our country. I see you rioters. I see you with your signs, and your words against the decision we are set with. We can not change our president, we can not impeach a president who has done nothing yet, and we can not place a moral decision on someone who has not shown us truly what we are getting ourselves into.
We are in an age of political unrest. Our words should not be ignored but is it justice to shatter the glass of an innocent building because you are mad that you did not get what you want. A country that acts out in violence is no better than a man who is a bully. Dictators act fast, move swiftly, and take their hand to make us worse but I ask you ….is a businessman really a dictator? When our last president was sitting upon the throne of his first inauguration people held signs with a noose on it, and not a single eyelash was batted to the protest. People claimed he would do wrong, he would be no good just because of the color of his skin. However, Obama managed to keep us alive for the most part.
efore you make rash decisions about a president remember he got into that seat because people voted for him, and remember even if you were not a voter it would be wise to support in unity that he will do well. We are afraid, scared, and worried for our future. But you know what? Change is scary. Change can be bad, but it can be good. What we did is vote in a non-political man in office because we don’t want a lier in the seat. I did not vote but if I was to think about the people and how Trump got in…I would say it was because we did not want to see a liar in office. However, A businessman is a liar. I would remind us that we should not go about change with hate in our eyes, but we should give love to each other.
