Racism Is A No

Change Starts With US

I’m a big believer that we can’t enact change without looking deeper into ourselves. We won't change if we are unwilling to make the steps for change within ourselves. It creates a desire that forms a catch twenty-two for us. We want to achieve change, but we can’t make the movement happen on our own.

Change begins with us if we are determined to make it so…

Here’s A Quick Tale

Loss is an emotion that takes time to deal with. You can’t lose someone close to you and be perfectly fine the next day. Loss doesn’t work that way. We feel our memories bleed out of our minds, and feel the tears trickle down our faces because we can’t accept them being gone.

Suddenly, our world is amiss. We want to pick…

To live versus to Have lived

Have you ever sat down and wondered what it would be like to lose the people closest to you? Lately, I have had this film reel playing inside my head like one of those black and white nineteen seventies movies. One where the characters don’t speak but the actions are performed. There are a few thoughts that can trigger a meltdown for me nowadays. ( This is one of those depressive states.)

I’ve grown much stronger. I have learned to forgive, but not…

The Sweat Of Writing

My writing is my tears, pain, hope, and sweat from living. It keeps me constantly desiring to move in this ever-changing world. When nothing lifts my mood, I know I can to an empty page where stories and imagination will greet me. For many, the empty page symbolizes a daunting dread like seconds before a teacher slams a test on your desk that you barely studied for. But for me, it symbolizes a sense of hope. …

I'll have to check the second book out. I've read the first, and I know that these are interesting points that I will have to invest more time into reading. Thank you so much for adding to my curiosity. <3

I also wonder what a wait time could do. Could it have saved the children of Sandy Hook? If the boy didn't have access to guns, and the person in the house with the guns had to wait...would we have seen the same incident? Or would it have occurred later. We can't really answer the question now that it happened. All we can do is ponder how we can improve these instances.

I don't believe anyone should be killed, murdered, ore treated differently just because of the color of their skin, or because they are part of a different heritage than someone else. I don't think that it is fair that so many people shoot others who are American as well because they think or feel that someone isn't American or is an insult to their culture. I honestly believe violence needs to stop. Love is powerful. We can love each other. We can put our differences aside and we need to start calling ourselves Americans and shouting out that these women shot could of had heritage from Asia. WE HAVE TO CHANGE SOMETHING because HATE CRIMES ARE RIDICULOUS. No one should die because of who they are, what they look like, or how they act. I don't agree with this hate crime at all.

Follow your dreams Aldric! I know you are never too young in this world to do what you desire to do. Opinions on age are just that...opinions. How you want something, and why you want are what is important. If you work early and you start putting money into an IRA account...it can make a tremendous difference later in life. But that is an opinion. Live freely friend. I always love reading what you write. <3

What a great article. I completely agree about using protection and being wise. Sex even with protection is dangerous. So, I weigh the options like I do with everything. Do the consequences out weigh the reality of my future? I don't mind children. I really don't mind raising a child on my own, if necessary. But I would prefer to have finances, and job capibilities at hand when doing so. Relationships, are important, but in no way should we be allowing toxicity to grow in our life. I always say love is what we need. Not toxicity.

We are amid a pandemic and I cannot get over how selfish people have become. In times of fear, people are more likely to use every resource they have on themselves before they think about another person. I am not like that. …
